Sawhorse Statement

 

I made friends with sawhorses after seeing one in the street in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  Attracted by the personality and character a sawhorse develops as it ages, I began photographing them.  I have added paint and chalk to the backgrounds to better show off the sawhorse.  I hope these portraits will bring your attention to the under-appreciated talents and beauty of the sawhorse.
